Strand Test

I got a trim the last time I took out my braids so thats why its a little shorter this time. I am not upset but I am very happy because the ends are a whole lot thicker. On the first pic (Jan 08) the strand is thin but the ends on the second one are thicker. (Oct 08) I just thought I would share this.

2nd Month...

It's getting thicker! Yahh! This month I took a break on the Mega-tek. I used my mixture of rosemary /peppermint oil and water to spray my roots, Infusium 23 to spray my hair and Vatika or coconut oil to seal. Next month I will concentrate on using the Mega-Tek.

My Attempt at a Bun With Micros!

I think my braids are a little to short to attempt to do one of those buns or it may be that I just don't know what the hell I am doing. But here is my attempt at "MY BUN" with my micros. Now that I am looking at it, it does not look like a bun at all! I didn't want to pull too tight because I didn't want to pull my edges out. The little black clamp is added to keep some of the strands from coming loose. Yup, its nothing special, I just tried to do something a little different!
