I am sooo loving this color. Its true to the actual color in the bottle. Its like a pastel color and it's hard as hell to apply. I cant explain it but you have to have a very, very, very steady hand when using this color. The thing I like about this color is that it pops! People can't help but notice it.

Micro Braid Knots...
What's the purpose of them? Well it helps to secure the braid. It prevents it from unraveling when you either comb , wash or however you manipulate the braid. They can help the braids last a long time but they can be a pain in the butt to take down. You have to be extremely careful not to cut your own hair because often the knots are NOT at the end of your hair. But as with anything else practice make prefect!
Okay I know the next question is how do I take mine down? Well I like to use a pair of sharp pointy scissors or a small needle. If you use a needle be sure not to prick yourself a million times by the time you are finished, lol! Anyway....I also like to use one of those combs with the thin metal tip. I first find the knot, take the metal end of the comb and slid it in the knot and "pull" the knot with the comb. This allows me to slid the scissor in between the knot and the braid so I can snip it. Well I know I did a bad job of explaining it so here are some pic's:
Braid Porn!
I have been slipping on my cowashes and regular shampoo's! I need to get focused. This year I'm trying to hit BSL or I want really thick APL. I just want more hair, lol. Anyway let me stop my blabbin. Last night I deep conditioned on dry hair with mizani, shampooed with Aphogee Moisture, Conditioned with ORS Replenishing, used mane & tail as my leave in, moisturized with my ohhhh so YUMMIE smelling Juices & Berries and sealed with my fav coconut oil. The Results are fabulous!

Be Careful When Using The "Salon" Hair 4 Micro Braids
Ladies be careful when using hair from the salon. My advice to buy it from a local BSS. As you already know from my blog I got micros on Aug 20 and they looked cute when I got them but over a week or so, they began to look really bad. So I took those out and got some new ones with some hair I purchased myself. Thank GOD I took out those ugly braids and got these. I am soooo loving these and they are sooo easy 2 manage. Big up 2 Jessie 4 telling me its okay to cut them :)

Update! Smart Lipo Update Week 4
So its been 4 weeks after I had the procedure on 08 Sept and here are my results:
1. Still a lil swollen
2. Stomach is loosing that spongy feeling
3. Belly button is still not returning to it's normal shape. I will wait a couple of more weeks / months until I email the doctor about this.
4. I still have noticeable scars. I stopped using the Neosprin because I was traveling, but I will start using it again.
5. Overall I STILL feel great and are happy with the results!
Now that I am back at work and a normal schedule, I can start taking my VitaMedic pills to aid in reducing the swelling. I am soooo ready for the final results but I know that can take up to weeks / months. Oh I tried on some of my work shirts....you know the ones that I was almost busting out of the buttons and they FIT AMAZING!!!! I will post pictures at a later time. Anyway here are some pic's I just took. They are all from the side because I noticed I didnt take alot of side pictures. Oh and one other thing I AM NOT SUCKING my stomach in. :) Just thought I would clarify that.

Cutting Micros That R 2 Long...
So my homegirl came over but she didnt have a razor. Its hard to find stuff like that out here in Iraq. So I decided to take matters into my own hands and cut them. My other friend Jessie said that I shouldnt worry about the ends because they will curl again after cutting them. They were just too heavy and a pain in the a-hole to style and were pulling. Overall, I think I did a good job. I was worried about the ends of the hair messing up but they didnt. Anyway...below are the results. The pictures on the left are the BEFORE and the pictures on the right are the AFTER. Once I make it back to my site I will probably cut just a little bit more.
See the ends curled after cutting them. Thank you JESUS!

9 Mile Long Braids.. Arghhh!
I can't win for damn loosing. I was able to get that bad set of micros out and got some more BUT these are too damn long and I don't know how to cut them without messing up the ends. They are also heavy and I'm scared they might tug at my roots too much. Last time I had some EXTRA long micros my friend Linda was able to thin them out 4 me using a razor and they looked so pretty! Only problem is she is at another site now so I am shishhh outta luck. Does anybody have any advice on how to thin them out using a razor? I tried YouTube but came up with no results. Here are some pic's of these 9 mile long braids. :(

OLD BRAIDS ( A HOT MESS!)
As you all know I took a 2 month break from work. I had a R&R mixed with a Medical leave. Yahh. I had micros put in on 20 Aug 2009 and they were really nice at first but the hair turned out to be A NIGHTMARE! I wished I would have taken more pictures of them but I didn't. :( I went back to the salon where I got them done and she apologized for giving me a bad pack of hair. She took them out for free and gave me a discounted price to put them back in. I got them taken out and put back in the SAME day. It took her 5 hours to take them down by herself and 3 and 1/2 hours to re braid them with another lady. My head was on fire. I swear there is a fingernail stuck in my scalp. Anyway I got some new micros put in with my favorite pony hair that I purchased from a local BSS. :) They are tooooo long but I love the hair. I want to cut them but I am scared I might mess up the hair. I might have to look at some YouTube videos to see of I can pick up some tips. Just in case you missed the post about my old braids click here. They were only in for a month and 4 days! Well here are the pictures of my new braids:
