Ms. Lola Adhesive for Lace Wigs

Back in March 2011 I did a post on Ms. Lola's glue for lace wigs and I loved it! So I decided to order some more. I want to alternate with my mastix P  and I wanted a product that has a easy clean up. I remember LoveKisses from YouTube did a video on her removing Ms. Lola's glue and she explained how you can use alcohol to remove the glue. So I went to Ms. Lola's site and she offers a clear and a white glue. Both of them dry clear. As you can see from the pictures I took below, the clear glue is stringy. That is a BIG no go for me, so I will stick with the white paste sorta looking glue. Tomorrow I plan to apply the glue and see what it do :) I will be back with pictures of my application using Ms. Lola's adhesive. Review: My Hair Growth from Using Rexall Castor Oil

Let me tell you... I dont know WHAT the hell is the difference b/w JBCO and this stuff but I think this stuff deserves some attention! Since I started using this stuff I have noticed a small spurt in new growth. And my texture...it really defines my texture and loosens the new growth. Before I started using this I didnt see ANY new growth because I have relaxed on using megatek.... but I hate to say it because it sounds so un true but almost 2 weeks later I noticed new growth after using this!

I purchased this bottle at Walmart in August. At first I was using this mixed with the JBCO (Jamaican Black Castor Oil) and then I stopped because I wanted to separate the two to see who was responsible for the growth spurt. Well I have not started using the JBCO by itself yet because I cant believe the results with this stuff! Have you tried it? If so let me know how it works for you. Oh and just to add this stuff is really thick so you might wanna break out the heavy duty paper towels when applying this stuff.

How to Use Mascara to Make a Lace Wig Look Natural!

In August I attempted to bleach the knots on this lace wig and winded up keeping the bleach on it for too long and the lace and roots turned this NASTY color (sorry no pictures)....so I left it alone UNTIL.... I needed to change lace wigs with a color I liked. So I found some brown Rich Auburn Dark & Lovely dye and attempted to color the lace and the roots only. Well it worked a little but it just didnt look right. So I remember a tip my fiance's mother taught me about covering her gray hair at the roots. She pulled out some black mascara and proceeded to color her roots. So that's exactly what I did with this lace wig. I colored the roots and I LOVE it. It makes the unit look so natural. The thing I like about it is that once the mascara dries it not going anywhere. I wonder if I wash it would it fade? Guess I will see.

If you are into purchasing lace wigs like me you know that CV's charge extra for 2 colors. So I believe I will start doing this from now on. I will order units and color them with mascara, lol.  Here are some pictures. I also created a video of me doing this and I plan on posting it to YouTube but I don't want to make any promises :) So here are the pictures for now. What do you think?
