Chelating Shampoo

Ladies until today I have never heard of a Chelating Shampoo. Apparently from the information I have gathered from other sites a Chelating Shampoo removes calcium and mineral deposits from the hair. The only reason you will need to use this kind of shampoo is if you use a no lye relaxer, swim or your water is hard. The shampoo is specifically formulated to remove mineral deposits and other ingredients in the hair.
Why can’t you just use a Clarifying Shampoo? Because clarifying poo’s remove product buildup only. Just think of Chelating poo as a stronger version of Clarifying poo’s.
Some examples are:
Aveda Detox
Nexxus Aloe Rid
Kenra Clarifying Shampoo

  1. Could you suggest any chelating shampoos that I could use, please? Because I swim, live in a hard water area AND use a no-lye relaxer!
