Hi! My name is Deena, and I was just searching around google to find someone with some answers for growing out relaxed hair. I decided to stop getting my hair permed, and have been natural since November of '08. My hair looks exactly like the picture shown here where the new growth meets the relaxer. I haven't been able to get braids yet, but I was wondering if there are any styles I can do myself before I get braids? I am very concerned about damaging the new growth. Thanks! dwinley@ymail.com
